Note: AoC is the abbreviation of Age of Conflict, in referral to the breach of peace between Aethia and Mithiel. AoC occured 10 years previous to the current events.

In the past, Aethia conquered the entire skyscape. The land was united under one ruler, Mathius Aethia, and in turn it was passed on to his son, Ephidius. It was 10 years after Ephidius ascended the throne, that Mithiel rebelled. The city of Mithiel had always been in upheval, and as the most polluted and technologically-driven city, was looked down upon by the Aethians. Ever since, Aethia and Mithiel have been in constant conflict, but recently, Ephidius Aethia has decended to the surface world, and has taken an keen interest in the son of Hawk Harborn. Hawk Harborn was a brash warrior from Mithiel, who joined up with a surface world kingdom called Vandal, his son Gabriel has done the same. Some suspect that these meetings are to propose a truce, others suspect more sinister things...
